Key Strategies to Prosperity & Success

Productive managers think logical and act logical. Let us take cue from John C. Maxwell how:
The farmer does not reap a harvest without sowing first. He uses his blessings as seed capital for planting (harrowing, sowing, manuring, watering, weeding, shooing away predators), and for harvesting and selling the produce. He plants one kernel of corn to produce a cornstalk, which in turn produces four corncobs, each corncob with as many as 700 kernels. Planting one kernel produces 2,800 kernels. Should he replant 10% of his harvest, that would be 280 x 2,800 kernels more. In two planting seasons one kernel of corn could produce 784,000 kernels! (The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership)
Mind you, each of us has received more than one kernel of corn from God. If all our blessings are pooled and multiplied exponentially, superabundance would envelope the planet in no time. The material needs of each one would be satisfied and opportunities for sharing, created. Fruits of love would abound. No more poverty, no more selfishness, no more envy, no more wars, no more tears.
How to multiply our blessings exponentially?
Plan your work & work your plan.
Sit down and make preparation. Establish the parameters: a vision of where to go, a mission statement of why go there, and a roadmap of how to get there.
GE chairman Jack Welch said, “Good leaders... see the whole trip in their minds before they leave the dock. They have a vision of their destination, they understand what it will take to get there, they know who they’ll need on the team to be successful, and they see the obstacles long before they appear on the horizon.” (21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, p. 12)
26 Let all your ways be properly prepared; 27 then deviate neither right nor left. PROVERBS 4 cjb
27 Do your planning and prepare your fields before you build your [barn]. PROVERBS 24 nlt
5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. PROVERBS 21
Even God did planning before the creation (Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 14:24).
28 Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? LUKE 14
2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way. PROVERBS 19
In planning, determine your core of competence (what it is you do best) and what you enjoy doing. Think of an enterprise where you would be playing, not working. Engage yourself in a familiar terrain. Think of a societal need you can help fill, to benefit your neighbors and exalt God. Think of set-goals that are attainable and manageable for you. Think of the best way to attain and manage them. Write down your plan. Then work your plan six days a week.
11 He who works his land will have abundant food, but he who chases fantasies lacks judgment. PROVERBS 12
29 Don’t be lazy or negligent in your work. SIRACH 4
6 Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well. ECCLEASIASTES 11
23 All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. PROVERBS 14
Be totally committed but do not overwork yourself. If you carry a burden too heavy for you, you might break your back and become ineffective in what you are doing.
2 Do not try to carry a burden too heavy for you. ECCLESIASTICUS 13
10 Son, don’t get involved in too many things. If you try to do too much, you will suffer for it. You won’t be able to finish your work, and you won’t be able to get away from it either. SIRACH 11
