9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. LUKE 16
Blessing No. 2: Prosperity
29 Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. MATTHEW 19
Investment bankers are in constant search of high-yield investment fields. Well, they should tell their clients about this: A hundredfold return, risk-free investment, and no cap to the investment amount. The bigger the investment, the greater the return.
12 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. 13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. GENESIS 26
28 For everyone who has [used his blessings in obedience of God’s instructions] will be given more, and he will have an abundance. MATTHEW 25
Blessing No. 3: Personal Well-Being
27 [The Lord] delights in the well-being of His servant. PSALM 35
Well-being pertains to the fulfillment of our physical, material, mental, emotional, financial and spiritual needs.
25 Worship the Lord your God and His blessing will be on your food and water. I [your God] will take sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. EXODUS 23
6 Blessings crown the head of the righteous. PROVERBS 10
6 [God] rewards those who earnestly [conscientiously] seek Him. HEBREW 11
What to Give
Give away divine love. If you think you are giving away a commodity—like money, food, water, clothes, material assistance—and not divine love, better check yourself because what matters to God is not what you give away but why you do it. God looks at the heart.
Do not look at the value of what you give away and do not miss it, for every millimeter of it belongs to God. Remember, you are an OJT (on-the-job-trainee) on stewardship.
How to Give
14 Do everything in love. 1 CORINTHIANS 16
6 For in Messiah Y’shua… the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. GALATIANS 5
Lucifer gives but not for love. Do not imitate his example.
10 In this the children of God are manifest and the children of the devil: Whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither is he that loveth not his brother. 1 JOHN 3 kjv
Give according to your capacity.
8 Give according to what you have. The more you have, the more you should give. Even if you have only a little, be sure to give something. 9 This is as good as money saved. You will have your reward in time of trouble. TOBIT 4 tev
12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have. 2 CORINTHIANS 8 nlt
Give cheerfully. And why not? You will come out of it richer! God’s vast, inexhaustible resources will be trained at your direction.
7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 CORINTHIANS 9
15 Son, when you help someone, don’t reprimand him at the same time. When you make a gift, don’t say anything that hurts. SIRACH 18
9 Be cheerful with every giving you make; and when you pay your tithes, do it gladly. SIRACH 35
7 Do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. 8 Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs… 10 Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart, so the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. DEUTERONOMY 15
Pray before giving. Take cue from the occultists. One of their most common ways to get demons into the home of a Christian is to give a gift of some sort to which they have attached demon spirits. Sometimes they will place a curse on money and give it to someone. (Unbroken Curses, p. 109) So pray for the Spirit to touch the heart of the recipient the moment he accepts your gift. Use giving to harrow his spirit.
Do not be slow to give and to give the best. Divine Justice is watching. If you tarry in giving, next time you ask God for something, He will tarry in giving to you. If you give the best, God will likewise give you the best.
9 Be generous and share your food with the poor. You will be blessed for it. PROVERBS 22 tev
7 If you are stingy in giving to the poor, God will be stingy in giving to you. TOBIT 4 tev
13 If a man shuts his ear to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered. PROVERBS 21
12 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and His ears are open to their prayers. 1 PETER 3 nlt
Give without discrimination.
21 Observe these instructions without partiality and do nothing out of favoritism. 1 TIMOTHY 5
11 God does not show favoritism. ROMANS 2
45 [Your Father in heaven] causes His sun to rise on the good and the wicked, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. MATTHEW 5
32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. LUKE 6
Give without any expectation of receiving something in return, except from the hand of God. Let God reciprocate your righteous deeds. It is nonsensical to take your reward from anyone else. God is the best rewarder there is.
1 Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you lose your reward from your Father in heaven. 2 So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father in heaven, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. MATTHEW 6
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. PHILIPPIANS 2
12 When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, or rich neighbors; for they may well invite you in return, and that will be your repayment. 13 Instead, when you have a party, invite poor people, disfigured people, the crippled, the blind! 14 How blessed you will be that they have nothing with which to repay you! For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. LUKE 14 cjb
Do not give to boast or reap personal glory; to honor a special friendship or affinity (out of social or peer pressure); to win human friendship, loyalty or esteem; to gain a political or economic favor; or to compensate for a personal guilt. Such motives are not acceptable to God.
4 Each one should test his own actions. GALATIANS 6
If you feel like teaching the hungry how to fish, feed them first, for their hunger will draw their attention away from your teaching.
