Substitute Lucifer’s Offering with Nutritious Intake

8 The words of a gossip are like delicious morsels, they go down to a man’s inmost parts. PROVERBS 18
The delicious morsels are all illusion. The truth is, every morsel that comes from Lucifer’s plate is spoiled and poisoned, unfit for human consumption. Let the dogs lap it up with gusto.
28 The mouth of the wicked gulps down evil. PROVERBS 19
4 An evil man listens to evil lips; and a liar pays attention to a malicious [mischievous] tongue. PROVERBS 17
God tells us to stay away from gossips.
19 A gossip can never keep a secret. Stay away from people who talk too much. PROVERBS 20 tev
19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. PROVERBS 10
16 Avoid godless chatter because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 2 TIMOTHY 2
11 Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and [instead of gossiping] to work with your hands [to earn a living], just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders [non-believers] and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. 1 THESSALONIANS 4
14 We urge you, brothers, to warn those who are idle. 1 THESSALONIANS 5
6 Avoid idle talk, and you will avoid a lot of trouble. SIRACH 19
20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out; so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. PROVERBS 26 kjv
Instead of ingesting Lucifer’s morsels
2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. 1 PETER 2
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, the Messiah. EPHESIANS 4
Stop Gossiping Yourself
Gossiping is one classic example of bringing yourself and your neighbors to sin. Scripture refers to it as idle talk because time for productivity is made idle.
Gossiping about your personal and family lives is not a sin per se. In fact it might prove beneficial if it releases the stress (tension) inside you, moreso if your burden is given a practical solution. Gossiping becomes sinful when the gossip imputes blame on the innocent, makes up stories, makes innuendoes that damage or cause to damage good reputation…
14 Don’t tell tales that will hurt people. SIRACH 5
Gossiping becomes sinful when the gossip betrays a confidence entrusted to him.
9 Do not betray another man’s confidence 10 or he who hears it may shame you and you will never lose your bad reputation. PROVERBS 25
23 A prudent man keeps [what he knows] to himself, but the heart of fools blurts out folly. PROVERBS 12
7 Never repeat what you hear, and you will have no regrets. 8 Don’t tell it to your friends or your enemies unless it would be sinful to keep it to yourself. 9 Whoever hears you will take note of it, and sooner or later will hate you for it. 10 Have you heard a rumor? Let it die with you. SIRACH 19
Gossiping becomes sinful when what is said breaks up a love-relationship.
28 A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends. PROVERBS 16
Set the Tone of Your Conversations By Bridling Your Tongue
23 He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity. PROVERBS 21
7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather train yourself to be godly. 12 …Set an example… in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 TIMOTHY 4
23 Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding… 15 My son, if your heart is wise, then My heart will be glad; My inmost being will rejoice with you when your lips speak what is right. PROVERBS 23
Do not engage in any conversation if you cannot control your emotion. Bad emotion produces bad decisions, bad decisions produce bad feelings, bad feelings result in a bad state of health.
Be fair. Never speak ill of anyone, especially when he is not around.
32 Live in such a way as to cause no trouble [offense] either to Jews or Gentiles or to the church of God. 33 …so that they may be saved. 1 CORINTHIANS 10 tev
15 At all times make it your aim to do good to one another and to all people. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 tev
19 Let us make every effort to do what leads to peace and mutual edification. ROMANS 14
