A Powerful Instrument

The spoken word is very potent.  Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21 amp). It has the power to thwart, frustrate and punish Lucifer and his demons… to stop and neutralize works of wickedness (Luke 10:17).

²⁰ I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. MATTHEW 17

So, when threatened with harm or death, simply say, “The devil cannot harm me for I am born of God” (1 John 5:18).

When threatened with poverty, say, “The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).

When threatened with ill-health, say:

³ Praise the Lord, O my soul, who heals all your diseases. PSALM 103

¹⁷ The Lord took up my infirmities and carried my diseases. MATTHEW 8

¹⁷ The Lord will restore my health and heal my wounds. JEREMIAH 30

³ The Lord will nurse me. PSALM 41

²⁴ By His stripes I have been healed. 1 PETER 2 

When your faith is spiked with doubt or lack of understanding, say: 

²¹ Nothing is impossible to him who believes. MATTHEW 17

¹³ I can do everything through the Messiah who strengthens me. PHILIPPIANS 4

Quote an appropriate Scripture verse and the evil deed before you would be neutralized. Also, the devil’s tail would be set on fire. He would run away for dear life like a dynamite about to explode. We speak from experience.

Now imagine what can be accomplished if majority of us pool our power of the spoken word into one critical mass. What if we pray at 3 o’clock in the morning, and every three hours thereafter, one group at a time? What if we pray for the Spirit to shield our church, community, province, nation and the entire world? For all evil works to be stopped and neutralized? For the expulsion of the demons from the hearts of everyone? For the demons in our midst to be bound and thrown into the fires of hell? If we pray, and especially as more and more people pray with us, the demonic forces would be singing My World Keeps Getting Smaller Everyday. If all the nations pray with us, the demonic forces would be left without any place to land on our planet. Let’s do it!
