Teach with love.
Teach in the name of Y’shua. Glorify the appointed name and exalt it. Familiarize your listeners with it. Whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of Y’shua (Colossians 3:17). David Cho said, “Remember that Christ is depending on you and your spoken word to release His presence.”[1]
17 In Christ we speak… like men sent from God. 2 CORINTHIANS 2
Teach by echoing the Word whenever possible.
11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Y’shua the Messiah. 1 PETER 4
7 For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction—because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty. MALACHI 2
5 Every Word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. PROVERBS 30
16 Remember what the Messiah taught and let His words enrich your lives and make you wise; teach them to each other and sing them out in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing to the Lord with thankful hearts. COLOSSIANS 3 tlb
Be truthful, like the Son of Man was (Mark 12:14).
25 Do not go against the truth. SIRACH 4
6 Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar. PROVERBS 30
12 The Lord sees to it that the truth is kept safe by disproving the words of liars. PROVERBS 22 tev
11 I want you to know, brothers, that the Gospel I preached is not something that man made up. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Y’shua the Messiah. GALATIANS 1
3 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord the Messiah Y’shua and to godly teaching, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing. 1 TIMOTHY 6
3 Some people [in Ephesus] are teaching false doctrines, and you must order them to stop… 5 The purpose of this order is to arouse the love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and a genuine faith. 1 TIMOTHY 1 tev
Do not pretend as if you have the answer to every question and the solution to every problem. You do not know everything. Present yourself as a fellow learner and struggler.
2 We have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the Word of God. 2 CORINTHIANS 4
25 A deceitful witness speaketh lies, but a true witness delivereth souls. PROVERBS 14 kjv
Teach by example, with eye on the Judgment.
21 You, then, who teach others, do you teach yourself? 22 You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who brag about the Law, do you dishonor God by breaking the Law? 24 [If you dishonor God, then] as it is written, God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you. ROMANS 2
1 Rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 1 PETER 2
Teach yourself first before you teach others. Do not be a hypocrite.
1 Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. JAMES 3
47 The servant who knows what his master wants him to do, but does not get himself ready and do it, will be punished with a heavy whipping. 48 The servant who does not know what his master wants, and yet does something for which he deserves a whipping, will be punished with a light whipping. Much is required from the person to whom much is given; much more is required from the person to whom much more is given. LUKE 12
Chinese proverb says, “Unless you have rectified yourself, you cannot rectify others.”
13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. JAMES 3 nlt
12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good works and glorify God on the day He visits us. 1 PETER 2
1 Your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over 2 by observing your pure and reverent lives. 1 PETER 3 nlt
27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of the Messiah. PHILIPPIANS 1
16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your listeners. 1 TIMOTHY 4
7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. TITUS 2
